What is the Good & Gather Brand?

The Good & Gather brand was launched as an initiative by Target back in 2019 to expand its Food and Beverages sector. From this, Target hoped to invoke a sense of a high quality and clean brand. The idea behind Good & Gather is great food that is “made for real life.” With products ranging from dairy and produce to ready-made pastas, meats and a bunch more, the brand hoped to give people an affordable and healthy option even for their busiest days. Target has built upon this idea of making their products more natural and fresh overall. The store implemented more natural practices into the Good & Gather brand. They have made it a priority to take initiative and provide taste tests to all their products to ensure there are no artificial flavors, sweeteners, synthetic colors or any high fructose corn syrup. A combination of natural and fresh integrity mixed with new and trend-forward product creations.

Stephanie Lundquest, the executive vice president for Food and Beverage at Target had this to say about the Good & Gather message.

“Our team got to work on our most ambitious food undertaking yet, reimagining our owned food brands to serve up convenient, affordable options that do not cut corners on quality or taste,” Lundquest said. “Good & Gather is our way of helping even the most time-strapped families discover the everyday joy of food.” — Target corporate website.
