It is no surprise that Lady Gaga knows how to make the red carpet her own. For the star’s latest film venture, “House of Gucci,” Gaga has pulled out all the stops on the press tour, dominating the carpet with various looks.
In the biographical crime drama, directed by Ridley Scott, Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani, the wife of Maurizio Gucci, played by Adam Driver. The film depicts the story behind Reggiani and Gucci’s relationship that ultimately ends in murder.
With its top reviews by critics, it makes perfect sense to have an extravagant press tour, or some may say a ‘fashion tour,’ with Gaga in attendance. With that, here are VALLEY’s favorite high-fashion looks worn by Gaga!
For the first premiere on Nov. 9, Gaga opted for a luxurious a purple Gucci ensemble, with eye makeup to match. She paired the gown with fishnets and platform boots along with Tiffany & Co. accessories.
The London premiere was a long time coming for Gaga. “It is three years since I started working on it and I will be fully honest and transparent: I lived as her [Reggiani] for a year and a half. And I spoke with an accent for nine months of that. I never broke. I stayed with her,” Gaga said in her December cover issue with British Vogue.
Paired with her bleach blonde hair and smokey eyes, the red pops on the carpet. Gaga walked the Milan carpet on Nov. 13 in a Versace corset-style gown paired with Tiffany & Co. accessories.
The night was full of emotion for the actress as she posted her thoughts on Instagram, saying, “I cried all day doing press in Milan. I am so grateful and humbled to be in our movie #HouseOfGucci. Coming Thanksgiving! Father, Son, and tonight … Haus of @Versace.”
New York Premiere
You can never go wrong with a black dress moment. Gaga graced the New York City premiere on Nov. 16 in a custom black velvet Giorgio Armani Privé gown. The tulle bow, red lip and updo created a chic look while her dress showcased her tattoos as well.
This premiere hit close to home for the actress, as she shared on Instagram that it was just “a few blocks from where this Italian-American girl grew up.”
Los Angeles Premiere
At the Los Angeles premiere on Nov. 18, Gaga brought classic Hollywood glamour to the carpet, wearing a Valentino bustier dress embroidered with silver sequins. She paired the gown with sparkling Messika Paris jewelry and a bob to compliment.
On the carpet, Gaga told Variety “I can’t wait for people to go out and see this movie because it’s so fun.”
The fashion does not stop at red carpet! Gaga brought the glam to the city streets and paparazzi captured several of her show-stopping street wear looks. VALLEY put together some of our favorite fits Gaga wore off the carpet that ranged from a head-to-toe Gucci outfit to a more subtle brown Et Ochs slip dress.
