When Colton Underwood was chosen to be the bachelor for season 15 of the show, it was no surprise to dedicated viewers. He was by far one of the most talked about cast members, not only because of his personal life, but because of his apparent good looks and charm. Out of the numerous women on Colton’s season, Hannah Brown, the newly selected bachelorette, stood out among them. She made an impression on Colton’s season, and she was clearly selected for a reason to have her own season in the next few months.
At the end of Colton’s season on “After The Final Rose,” Hannah B. was brought into the public light once again to serve as the bachelorette. Shortly after she was announced, Chris Harrison, the show’s host, surprised her with the first five men she would meet. This has sometimes been done in the past — bringing out a few contestants for the next season for the new bachelor or bachelorette to meet — but this time was different. After Hannah B. met her first five eligible bachelors, she jokingly said that she should hand out her first rose, otherwise known as the first impression rose. Her joke became a reality, and Chris Harrison gave her that desired rose to give to one of the five men standing in front of her.
After meeting and getting to know the first five men, Hannah B. had to make that crucial decision in figuring out who she wanted to give her first impression rose to. She ultimately gave the first rose to a cute Texas-native named Cam after being impressed by the rap that he performed for her upon initially meeting, followed by him ever-so-romantically blowing rose petals into her face.
So what does this mean for the other 28 men competing for Hannah B.’s heart? Since only five men were revealed in person, the remaining ones won’t be introduced until the show airs months from now. However, ABC has released the names, pictures and details of all the contestants online, which is often unheard of for previous seasons of “The Bachelorette” or “The Bachelor.” Fans and dedicated viewers can do their research on all the contestants for this upcoming season and make predictions on what will happen in the next few months.
Hannah B. is also the youngest known bachelorette in the history of the show, which adds to the already established twists of this upcoming season. Despite her age, she still is open to finding love and lifelong partner. This next season of “The Bachelorette” will definitely be one to tune into.
