Since 2008, PINK Campus Rep programs have provided a supportive and inspiring community for college students. Campus Reps currently represent 250 students across 127 campuses, and their inclusive and diverse community welcomes all gender identities to apply. As a Campus Rep, you’ll get to be more than a brand ambassador. You will impact PINK’s branding and product design, run PINK’s social media account for Penn State, work with the PINK Home Office Leadership team, and so much more.

Plus, as if applying for Campus Reps wasn’t already a no-brainer, PINK goes the extra mile to make sure their Reps are well prepared for the school year. Campus Reps receive $500 for textbooks and $150 for school supplies each semester, plus a free bartleby+® subscription for 24/7 access to study and writing tools. That means you can promote PINK while paying your back-to-school expenses with ease.

VALLEY spoke with Naomi Were, a current PINK Campus Rep at Penn State, to learn more about the program’s opportunities. Naomi started working with PINK as an on-campus photographer her freshman year and now holds a Campus Rep position as a junior. “It’s a one-of-a-kind experience,” she says, “There is endless opportunities and it’s open to anyone who wants to learn and grow.”

As a Campus Rep, Naomi posts content for PINK’s Penn State campus Instagram, hosts on-campus events, and films videos for PINK’s YouTube channel. She values the content creation training she receives from the PINK team, saying, “Joining the Campus Rep program helped me grow in my content creating skills by a million. They open a door of networking to the whole industry.” From empowering Penn State students to attending Q&A sessions with PINK’s CEO, Naomi’s time as a Campus Rep has only enhanced her years at Penn State.

Naomi also points out that the Campus Reps program benefits all majors. As an Architectural Engineering major, she’s seen firsthand how her Campus Rep experience transfers to career-building: “I had an internship within my major, and the people that I worked with were really impressed with what I do at PINK. I found that employers really value people who are multi-talented.”

Campus Reps has offered incredible opportunities for Naomi, and it can for you, too! APPLY HERE by January 31st to become a Campus Rep and make the most of your time at Penn State.
