Banana & Olive Oil Hair Mask

This is a perfect mask to make if your hair is damaged from heat styling, chlorine, chemicals in shampoos, or sun exposure. The nutrients from the banana will hydrate the damaged hair, while the olive oil will deeply condition the hair, leaving it silky and shiny.

What You’ll Need
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
What You’ll Do
  1. Chop banana and place into a blender until a completely smooth puree is formed.
  2. Once smooth, add the olive oil into the blender. Blend until a frothy and creamy mixture is made. If the mixture is too runny, add a couple of pinches of flour and blend.
  3. Thoroughly apply the mask onto dry hair and let it sit for 10-15 minutes in a bun with a shower cap or wrapped up in a towel.
  4. Rinse the mask out of hair and wash as normal.
