Spring Eats: Get Refreshed With Smoothie Bowls

Every season calls for smoothie bowl making, but with fruits such as apricots, cherries and mangoes being in full bloom, spring is the perfect time to take advantage of these refreshing flavors. VALLEY has provided readers with simple smoothie bowl recipes that can be created all throughout this lovely time of year.

For all of these recipes, you will need a blender. In terms of toppings, some of VALLEY’s go-to’s include coconut flakes, hemp seeds, almonds, honey, peanut butter, granola, and fresh fruit. You can never go wrong with how you go about making your bowls, experiment and have fun with it!

Apricot Banana Smoothie Bowl
What You’ll Need
  • 2-3 apricots, cut and pitted
  • 2 ripe bananas, cut and frozen
  • 2/3 cup almond milk or any other milk alternative
What You’ll Do
  1. Place ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Dark Cherry Smoothie Bowl
What You’ll Need
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter or any other nut butter alternative
  • 2/3 cup almond milk or any other milk alternative
What You’ll Do
  1. Place ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Strawberry Mango Smoothie Bowl
What You’ll Need
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2/3 cup almond milk or any other milk alternative
What You’ll Do
  1. Place ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
