The holidays are here, which means something very important…tons and tons of delicious FOOD. However, stuffing your face with everything in sight tends to rub and wear off whatever lipstick you may have on. But what if we told you that you could eat your turkey and have it too? Valley has hunted down the perfect lipstick that will stay put during all of your holiday meals and festivities.
Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick glides over your lips like a gloss when applied, but dries as a matte lipstick. There are 28 different shades to pick from and they are all extremely pigmented. The amount of variety is great because there are some very fun colors, but very neutral, wearable one as well.
For many liquid lipsticks it is necessary to build up a couple of layers in order to get the desired coverage/pigment. The more layers you add though, the more the lipstick is going to crack and flake off. Kat Von D’s does not have this problem because it has a suede-like texture that only requires one layer. This helps ensure their durability and comfortable wear.
The applicator for the lipstick helps the product glide on, but a quick tip for if you are not as skilled at applying a liquid lipstick is to use a smaller lip brush. That way you can be more precise around the edges of your lips.
Valley tested out this product in the shade Underage Red this Thanksgiving and it did not budge at all through all three courses (including wine). We give it two thumbs up so definitely give it a try this year!
