HUB Food Get In My Belly: 5 Most Delicious Things at the HUB

The HUB. It’s everyone’s favorite meeting spot and it’s the best place to gossip with friends while pretending to do homework. You probably visit the HUB daily and grab your favorite food items without thinking twice. Did you ever wonder what everyone else’s go-to HUB snack is? Valley surveyed a group of serious Club HUB members to determine the ultimate HUB menu.

Burger King Meals

Most HUB-goers like Burger King because it’s cheap. There’s always a line for the famous BK Whopper or chicken nuggets. You can get a burger, fries and a drink for the prices of one Starbucks latte. It may not be the most nutritious option offered at the HUB, but it’s a classic and when you’re hungry, it gets the job done. We all deserve a little Burger King in our lives every once in awhile.

Chick-fil-A Waffle Fries

Everyone knows Chick-fil-A is a staple at the HUB, and there is nothing better than sitting down with a chicken sandwich after a long morning of classes. But, the majority of students actually prefer the fries to the chicken. HUB regulars also stressed the importance of dipping your Chick-fil-A waffle fries in Chick-fil-A sauce, which is out of this world. Ketchup just doesn’t cut it in this case.

Jamba Juice Smoothies

A highly anticipated new addition to the HUB this year, Jamba Juice has lived up to all the hype. The smoothies aren’t just refreshing and tasty; some smoothies are also healthy. A quick Jamba Juice tip- always buy the smallest, whether that’s a small or even a kid-sized smoothie to keep your calorie and sugar intake at a healthy level.

Panda Express Orange Chicken

If you suddenly have a craving for Chinese food at the HUB, Panda is the place to go. Their orange chicken is one of their most popular menu items. And, if you can’t decide between chicken and shrimp or pork, you can always get both and create your own meal.

McAlister Deli Spuds

If you’ve never eaten a McAlister spud, you need to do yourself a favor and go buy one of these enormous baked potatoes right now. Imagine a baked potato the size of a small football, smothered in gooey cheese with crispy bacon sprinkled on top. You can even add vegetables or chicken to your spud and make it a meal. It’s pure potato paradise. The McAlister spud is the Beyoncé of baked potatoes.
