How To Create The Perfect Smoothie Bowl

Summer is in full swing and so is the world’s latest and greatest trend— smoothie bowls. Not only are they delicious, but they are jam-packed with nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants, which is key for maintaining that bikini bod.

Smoothie bowl shops have recently been popping up all around the country. Almost every popular beach town has one, and in fact, you can even find one here in State College at Yogurt Express on College Ave.

The only downfall to these magical bowls of goodness? The price. Most bowls range from 9-12 dollars just for a single serving. Ain’t nobody got money for that.

Spoiler alert— you don’t have to break the bank just to enjoy this healthy summer snack.

Run to the supermarket, grab all the necessary ingredients, and BANG— you have unlimited bowls in the comfort of your own home. If you’re up for it, toss your bowl in a cooler and bring it to the beach with you! On-the-go bowls = genius!

Whether you are in the mood for something fruity, green or chocolaty, Valley has you covered.
