But for some reason, it doesn’t hit the same in the daylight. Forget about your usual microwave meals or go to DoorDash order and treat yourself to some local delights. Whether you’re in the mood for some classic Italian from Bonfattos or a cafe treat from Cafe Lemont, you’ll find plenty of delicious options just beyond our Penn State bubble.
But exploring Happy Valley isn’t just about food and outdoor activities – it’s also about immersing yourself in the culture. Take a break from being just a student and be a local! You can take advantage of the numerous cultural events happening on campus, from performances at the Center for the Performing Arts to exhibitions at the Palmer Museum of Art. But if you’re more in the mood for a comfy experience, check out the multiple movie theaters within a 15-minute drive of campus. Your new favorite movie and a bucket of popcorn are waiting for you at the College 9 theater!
