It may no longer be socially acceptable to trick-or-treat, but just because you can’t go door to door begging for candy doesn’t mean you should stop eating it, right?
Before you find yourself in a sugar coma, Valley is here to help you choose the “healthiest” candy options. Since most Halloween candy seems to lack nutrition labels, we are here to help and choose the candy that you can stock up on this October.
Eat This
Brach’s Pumpkin Spice Candy Corn
Macros: 0 grams of fat, 36 grams of carbs, 0 grams of protein, 140 kcal per 19 pieces
With no fat, a handful of these can satisfy any sweet tooth.

Hershey Kisses Pumpkin Spice Flavor
Macros: 12 grams of fat, 24 grams of carbs, 3 grams of protein, 210 kcal per 9 pieces
Hershey Kisses regular kisses are by far the best flavor – simplicity at best. The pumpkin spice combo just doesn’t go with this candy.
Eat This
Hershey’s Candy Corn white Chocolate bar (per one mini)
Macros: 4 grams of fat, 8 grams of carbs, .5 grams of fat, 67 kcal per one piece
If you only each one piece, it isn’t bad! These are individually wrapped, so self-control is a bit easier with this tasty chocolate treat.
Not That
Candy Corn M&M’s
Macros: 11 grams of fat, 29 grams of carbs, 2 grams of protein, 220 kcal per 23 pieces
These M&M’s are so addicting, and it might be because of the 28 grams of sugar in each serving. It’s best not to even have these in your apartment – they are too hard to resist.
Eat This
Tootsie Caramel Apple Pops
Macros: .5 grams of fat, 15 grams of carbs, 0 grams of protein, 60 kcal per 1 lollipop
Much easier to eat than a regular caramel apple, this lollipop is coated in real caramel and takes a while to finish.
Not That
Twizzlers Caramel Apple Filled Twists
2 grams of fat, 33 grams of carbs, < 1 gram of protein, 150 kcal per 3 pieces
Who knows what’s actually in the “filling” of these Twizzlers (we don’t want to find out). Leave these seasonal treats on the shelves.
