Posted by Kendall + Kylie | @kendallandkylie

From Kendall and Kylie Jenner to Carrie Underwood, it seems as if every celebrity has their own brand of clothing, ranging from over-the-top workout wear to flashy party dresses. But are these brands really worth the hype and the price?

Valley went on a mission to find out what is so great about the celebrity attire everybody is breaking the bank for.

KENDALL+KYLIE Collection by Kendall and Kylie Jenner

The famous Jenner sisters’ clothing line is one of the most talked about fashion brands ever since it’s launch in 2016. After their collaborations with Nordstrom and PacSun, the sisters’ branched out to form their very own line of pieces.

Their online store includes all forms of clothing, accessories and footwear. Their iconic looks range from $50 wallets to $275 dresses — the most expensive item being close to $400.

While the clothes are mainly monotone, all of their designs are very on-trend and perfect for the upcoming season. However, the question remains: Are their clothes really worth the money?

After reading reviews from various websites and gathering opinions from owners of the brand, the outcome reveals the line is really worth the hype. The average rating for the brand on SHOPBOP is five stars. You really are getting what you pay for, so maybe splurging your paycheck on one shirt isn’t such a bad thing after all?

CALIA by Carrie Underwood

It seems as if athleisure has become the new go-to style. From racerback sports bras to semi-mesh leggings, athleisure has taken over our wardrobes. Country superstar Carrie Underwood has taken the trend under her wing, creating her own brand of workout wear.

Featured at sporting good stores worldwide, the brand is cute and colorful. Ranging from prices mostly below $50, the line is made with high quality material — perfect for soaking up the sweat while still looking fashionable.

Comparable to Nike, the brand is rated highly on DICK’S Sporting Good’s website, with reviews stating that the clothing is flexible, durable and really comfortable.

So, Carrie Underwood is a country superstar by day, athleisure queen by night!

The Row by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen

Talk about a blast from the past. The iconic duo has been slaying the fashion game ever since their fashion line THE ROW launched in 2006.

Available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys and Nordstrom Rack, the high-end brand features a couture line of eyewear, handbags, footwear and fabulous clothing.

What Valley reveals to you next might break your heart. One item from their brand may cost you up to $2,000. Yeah, we cried too.

One fur jacket with a velvet interior would cost you $17,000 whereas a pair of sandals may only set you about $400 in debt.

Is the designer brand worth spending your whole life savings on? Probably not. Are the clothes extremely amazing? Yes.

Basically, unless your Blair Waldorf, a cheaper option is most likely better for your shopping destinations.

Daya by Zendaya

Just recently launched this past year, Daya by actress, singer and women’s activist Zendaya Coleman features pieces that reflect the classic New York street style.

Zendaya’s new clothing line is said to be, “As woke as she is,” reflecting her message that all body types are beautiful and should be able to rock the line.

Praised for the price tags, all the pieces are affordable, and the clothing website also offers free shipping over a $75 purchase.

You might want to check out her website ASAP because all dresses are under $40, and they are all super chic.

Do you plan on giving these celebrity fashion lines a try? Valley thinks a few may be worth that cost, but Target and Forever21 will still be the budget-friendly brands we have all come to know and love.
