Have you ever been in the holiday mood, but didn’t have a playlist go-to with all of your favorite Christmas tunes? Look no further – VALLEY’s got you covered. It’s never too early to get into the spirit.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You”

This song by Mariah Carey is essential to any Christmas playlist. It was released in 1994 but continues to hit the top charts in the holiday season over 20 years later. It also won her two Grammy’s, reflecting the fact that it is a classic tune to return to every year.

“Let it Snow”

“Let it Snow” by Frank Sinatra is a warm and cozy song that will remind many listeners of their childhood and have them wishing for snow on Christmas Day. It is the perfect charming tune for sitting by the fireplace and sipping hot chocolate in the winter months.

“Christmas Time Is Here”

For anyone who loved the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, this song will make those reminisce on the simpler days of cartoons, pajamas and chocolate chip cookies. It will make any listener remember the pure excitement of waiting for Santa to drop in on Christmas Eve.

“Lights On”

Although old holiday songs are amazing to hear, new ones can hit just the same. Tyler, The Creator released a soundtrack last year for the new “Grinch” movie with some new original tunes. It provides a more modern take on classic Christmas sounds.

“Last Christmas”

“Last Christmas” by Wham! is one of the best holiday tracks and is good enough to be played not only in the winter but all year round. It was released in the mid-’80s, but the message still rings true to many these days.

These are only a couple of examples of songs within the playlist, and more recommendations are welcome. Be sure to let us know on Instagram, @VALLEYmag, what your favorite holiday tunes are!
