This year, we’ve been stuck in our homes for much longer than we’d like. But have you ever wondered what it’s like to live in a famous person’s home for a day? Isolating would look a lot different if we all had our own sprawling mansion estate with tennis courts and a private movie theatre. But since we can’t all live this luxurious life, why not have fun looking at pictures of them?

VALLEY has compiled a list of some of the best celebrity homes – read below to begin your tour inside!

Selena Gomez

This house was custom built and previously owned by musician Tom Petty. Selena Gomez bought the $4.9 million mansion that resides in Encino, Los Angeles. One of her neighbors happens to be YouTuber James Charles.

Gomez’s gorgeous house holds 6 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a yoga studio and gym; plus, it sits high up on a hill invisible from the street.

If you’ve watched her cooking show on HBO Max “Selena + Chef,” you’ll recognize the kitchen!

Taylor Swift

This home and its previous owner Rebekah Harkness inspired Taylor’s song “Last Great American Dynasty.”

Her 11,000-square-foot house, worth $17.75 million, is located in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. It sits atop a high hill with breathtaking views of the water and 700 feet of shoreline.

The New England house is also home to Swift’s iconic Fourth of July parties, which we can only dream of attending.

Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Downey live in a 19th-century windmill cottage. Originally constructed as a playhouse, it has been transformed into Downey’s home in East Hampton, NY.

“We didn’t set out to do something conspicuously wacky. We just enjoy a bit of whimsy and fun. And we definitely don’t like boring,” said Downey.

We are sure his kids absolutely love growing up in a home as fantastic and fun as this one!

Chrisy Teigen and John Legend

This famous couple recently sold the home they first bought in 2016. Previously owned by Rihanna, this home will look familiar to fans of Chrisy Teigan who has shown off the property on her Instagram.

The gorgeous home sold for $23.95 million. The entryway has 33-foot ceilings and stunning views of the canyons in California. Outside lies a heated saltwater pool, a wood-fired oven, a massive walk-in closet and glam room, as well as a balcony for all seven bedrooms.

Zedd

Zedd decorated this 9,400-square-foot house in Beverly Hills himself without any interior designer help, and it’s probably one of the most unique homes you’ll ever see. He explained that “when you buy something of this size you question every little thing… but this is really as close to perfect a house for me as I can get.”

The features include a live olive tree inside, an infinity pool, symmetrical designs and floor-to-ceiling glass windows as well as a built-in vacuum in his cabinets to suck up the crumbs.

Barbra Streisand

One of the most iconic and talented singers of all time, Barbra Streisand’s home in Malibu includes a shopping mall. Yes, you read that right.

“Instead of just storing my things in a basement, I can make a street of shops and display them,” said Streisand in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

Built and designed from scratch, her “basement” has been transformed into shops to display her collections and memorabilia, as well as other stores with stock that comes and goes as she “shops” in them.

In her antique clothes shop, she displays some of her most famous costumes, like one of the dresses from her Broadway production of “Funny Girl.”

A sweet shop supplies frozen yogurt and popcorn to guests who visit for Barbra’s screening parties. She’ll even stop in her gift shop to pick up presents for her friends.
