What is Tubing Mascara?

Ah yes, the age-old tale. Finally, after a long night out, you head into your bathroom and muster the courage to take off your makeup. You scrub your eyes until you believe you got every last drop of water-proof mascara combed onto your lashes off your face and onto the cotton pad in your hands. With satisfaction and little will to do anything else, you head to bed.

The Morning After

You arise in the morning, your skin feeling as clear as a bright summer sky, when suddenly you look in the mirror to see the same mascara from the night before coated all under your eyes. You let out a sigh of frustration … all your hard work has gone to waste.

You pray and pray, hoping there can be a product to take this pain away. Lucky for you, the time has come. Tubing mascara creates tiny tubes around each singular lash by using polymers instead of oil. Thus, this full-proof formula makes taking off your mascara a breeze. With a few swipes, the tubing mascara comes off in singular tubes, just like the shape of your eyelashes, while keeping your real hairs safe and protected.

An Honest Review

Personally, I have been using tubing mascara for about one month (so I am a true expert on the topic) and it really does make the nighttime process much easier and increasingly less painful. Additionally, my lashes are healthier and longer than they have ever been before from using traditional mascara. Without the tough rubbing of my eyes while trying to take off my old mascara, the tubing mascara provides a gentler option for my eyes and skin.

Of course, there are some downfalls when using the product. I don’t find it gives me the same volume and curl as a traditional oil-based product. With lots of trial and error, I would recommend more layers of product with less mascara on the brush to fully sculpt your eyelashes without making them clumpy.

I would argue tubing mascara is the perfect solution for the tiring mascara under-the-eyes look we all try desperately to avoid.
