Let’s be honest with ourselves: oftentimes, the real reason we watch awards shows isn’t to hear the list of winners, but to admire the celebrities who grace the red carpet. We awe at the stars’ designer looks, watching them pose in front of flashing cameras with confidence and prestige. This year, the Screen Actors Guild awards were no exception – America’s favorite actors brought all the glamour to the show.

Vanessa Hudgens
To put it simply, our High School Musical queen has never looked better. Hudgens wore an Atelier Versace dress and Chopard jewelry for the event. The mint-colored gown looks beautiful against her skin tone, and the blingy straps paired with a cowl neckline are giving us total Y2K vibes. She elevated the look with gold nails, platform heels, and glowy makeup. This was easily one of the best looks of the night!
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga has brought us quite a few eye-popping looks over the years, and once again she did not fail to impress. The singer-turned-actress wore an Armani Privé gown with stunning Tiffany and Co. Jewelry. The bedazzled gaping neckline of the dress makes a gorgeous statement, complimented by her silver eyeshadow and diamond jewelry. Overall, Gaga owned the red carpet with this totally regal look.
Selena Gomez
Yet another of our favorite childhood Disney stars stole the show. Gomez stepped out in a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta dress for the SAG Awards. The oversized puff sleeves are totally on-trend, easily standing out against her elegant black gown. The slight cutout in the dress adds dimension without being too distracting. And to top it all off, Gomez blinged out with a diamond choker to give that timeless Breakfast at Tiffany’s feel.
Andrew Garfield
We see you, Andrew! You will always be Spiderman in our hearts, but this night you served us serious retro vibes that took us right to a nightclub in the 70s. Garfield wore a Saint Laurent suit that included a wide-leg trouser pant and some sparkly trim. Perhaps the glitzy pattern is symbolic of the shining star Garfield truly is.
Venus Williams
Tennis legend Venus Williams showed us her true celebrity status in this beautiful Dolce & Gabbana piece. It’s almost impossible to pick out the boldest part of this look. Is it the metallic bustier? The thigh-high slit? The one-shoulder sleeve? We’d like to think it’s all of the above.
