Peace, Love and Woodstock 50

The power of music is the electrical charge that powers the world. It’s something that all of humankind can relate to. We all may not love the same genres of music, but we all can connect to a certain one that pertains to our liking. It finds you when you’re high, and it finds you when you’re low. This summer, musicians across all genres and walks of life will find you during three days of peace, love and music.

Woodstock 50 is coming to Watkins Glen, New York this summer on August 16, 17 and 18. The festival is taking place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original 1969 Woodstock held in Bethel, New York.

Some of the artists who performed at the original Woodstock include Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Buckle up, because this year the lineup for Woodstock 50 will take you to the moon. Here are a few of the many stars that will be tearing up the stage.

Miley Cyrus
The Killers
The Black Keys
Jay-Z
Imagine Dragons
Halsey

To make Woodstock 50 even more nostalgic, there will be returning performers who performed at the original Woodstock.

Santana
Country Joe McDonald
John Sebastian
John Fogerty (from Creedence Clearwater Revival)

This festival is going to be one for the books. The majority of us weren’t born yet when 1969 Woodstock happened, so now is the time to redeem yourself. Ticket prices for a three day pass range from $700 general admission to $3,000 VIP access. Staggering numbers, staggering.

Whether you will attend or live vicariously through those who do, one thing is for certain … music makes the world go round.
