With August coming to an end, summer fashion is also coming to a close as we get ready to embrace the changes of not just the leaves, but also our wardrobe. While VALLEY isn’t the fashion police and won’t dictate whether or not wearing white is acceptable after Labor Day, we are here to shed light on some of the trendiest colors of the season.

If you’re like us and loved the bright colors and funky patterns that were seen in fashion this past summer, you’ll be glad to hear that many of this year’s fall trends incorporate colors like bold pinks and hues of blue and green with the classic fall colors. Here are some of this year’s hottest colors and how to incorporate them into your wardrobe.

Mint Green

Greens are going to be a sought-after color this fall. From dark leprechaun green to the minty green shown below in the Molly Goddard Fall 2021 show, all sorts of hues will be seen. You can include this color in your wardrobe through sweaters and pants, as well as coats and puffer jackets when it gets a little colder outside.

Illuminating Yellow

This bright yellow color is for the maximalist fashion lovers who want to spruce up their neutral fall wardrobe. This color can be worn as it’s shown below in the Prada fall 2021 show, but can also be incorporated in less extreme ways, such as shoes, jewelry and other accessories.

Mykonos Blue

This stunning shade of blue works practically in any season and will be prominent in this year’s fall fashion. Worn below by Bella Hadid as the opening outfit in the Off White fall 2021 ready-to-wear show, Mykonos blue gives off an elegant, almost royal vibe. Look out for pants, sweaters and blouses in this color to add to your wardrobe.

Blush Pink

Blush pink is a great color for those who don’t like to get too bold, but still want to be in trend this fall. The romantic shade of pink can be incorporated in one’s wardrobe very easily since it’s so versatile and goes well with all staple fall colors. The outfit below from Acne Studios mixes different shades of pink with blush, and the shape gives it a contemporary look. Though this color can truly be worn well in any style – from classic and preppy to edgy and modern.
