Looking to impress friends and family with your culinary skills … but don’t quite have any? This is the recipe for you. Not only is it easy, but it’s healthy and pleasing to the eye.
What you will need:
6 Chicken Tenderloins
½ cup Balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons Agave
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
What to do:
In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, agave and oil. Salt and pepper the chicken, and pour the marinade over the chicken in a baking dish. The chicken should marinate in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
Once the chicken has marinated, place onto a cooking sheet and spoon an additional teaspoon of agave onto each tenderloin.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and bake the chicken for 20-23 minutes.
The chicken can be served over a salad with dried cranberries, toasted sliced almonds (bake on 350 degrees for 6 minutes), feta cheese, and balsamic dressing.
It may just be your next favorite dish! Leftovers are great for healthy school lunches too.
Enjoy!
