We Want That Nepotism Baby’s Life

In a perfect world, we would all be born a nepotism baby with a Birkin and a trust fund — but, we aren’t. Instead, we get to envy those who do via the internet. For those who don’t spend their time in search of hot people to stalk on Instagram, nepotism babies are the children of celebrities.

While this family dynamic probably comes with plenty of baggage (search Caitlyn Jenner’s first family for reference) you can’t lie — their lives seem pretty sweet. Some may go on to follow in their parent’s footsteps as an actor or writer, while others seem to dissolve into the “insta baddie” abyss of LA. Either way, they’re living the life and VALLEY has a list of favorites.

“Every day I spend my time…” dreaming of being this nepo baby. Not an album, but this baby announcement may be just as exciting. When we imagine this baby’s life, we think of it being swaddled by A$AP while Riri sings “Pour It Up” filling the baby bottle. What a life. This child will be riding around in one of those toy car Range Rovers (Side note: These are literally normal cars but small) with the KarJenners in no time!

Maude Apatow

Maude might possibly have the most ideal nepotism baby life. Not only does she get the world’s funniest dad jokes, but access to her mother’s closet. Her parents are Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann. Judd has directed, produced and written pretty much any funny movie you’ve ever seen such as “Bridesmaids” and “Superbad.” But, if you saw him walking down the street, you would have no idea he’s a celebrity.

Leslie Mann on the other hand is an actress who has starred in many popular films such as “The Other Woman” and “17 Again.” She’s one of those actresses who whenever their face pops up on TV, your mom has to announce “I just love her!!!”

As a kid, Maude starred in some of her parents’ projects such as “Knocked Up” and “This Is 40,” you know, just normal nepo baby things! Maude tried the whole going to college thing, but left her theater studies at Northwestern University after her sophomore year to return home to Los Angeles, California, and focus on her acting career. Now, Maude can be seen on HBO’s “Euphoria” as resident good friend and shy girl, Lexi Howard.

Lily-Rose Depp

Add an iconic movie star and a French pop star, and you get a global “it” girl. Lily-Rose Depp may be known to some as Timothee Chalamet’s ex-girlfriend (p.s. rumored to be back together), but do not underestimate her just because she knows how to fly under the radar.

Her parents are celebrities Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. Johnny Depp is an actor known for his major roles in movies such as “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Edward Scissorhands.” While her mother Vanessa Paradis may be lesser-known, she is no less accomplished. Achieving her big break at just 14 for her hit song “Joe Le Taxi,” she then went on to be an actress and model.

While you may know her from paparazzi photos of her looking effortlessly stunning while she strolls the streets of Paris (pronounced ‘Pari’ in honor of Lily) or NYC, Lily has recently been starring in many more projects and establishing herself as an actress. Her recent films include “The King,” “Voyagers” and “WOLF.” Her cool-girl, laissez-faire vibe radiates from her casual Instagram that is a must-stalk if you have the time (you probably do.)
