Protein-Packed 3 Ingredient Dip

There’s nothing more annoying then being so ravenously hungry and not knowing what to eat. Instead of staring in your pantry/fridge waiting for something to magically appear, what if you had a snack on hand that was not only easy to make but dare I say… healthy?

Here’s a recipe that will combat your hunger cravings, your sweet and salty cravings, and will make you full too!

Well, at least until your next meal.


What you’ll need

½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon peanut butter (chunky highly encouraged)
1 teaspoon of maple syrup


What to do

1. Mix all three of these ingredients in a bowl. No need for exact measurements- add ingredients to your taste preference!

2. Feel free to dip anything you prefer in this dip: apple slices, carrots, banana chips, strawberries, pretzels… whatever you crave at the moment.


The benefits

Greek yogurt: The protein in Greek yogurt helps fill you up, builds muscle, and repairs tissue. The probiotics (healthy bacteria) help move your digestion system along. The Vitamin B12 in it also gives you energy assist in healthy brain function.

Peanut butter: Like yogurt, peanut butter is a power house for protein. Make sure you don’t exceed 2 tablespoons of it however- it’s high in saturated fat so consume with caution.

Maple syrup: To be honest… there’s not much nutritional value. But it tastes good and makes life sweeter.
