Nutty for Nutella: Two 4-Ingredient Nutella Recipes You Must Try

In the tumultuous world in which we live, it seems that no one can agree on anything. Politicians fight over legislation, Penn State and Ohio State fight over who’s better (*ahem* we are) and people still fight over whether climate change is real or not (seriously?). However, if there is one thing that everyone can agree on, it’s that Nutella is one of the most blissfully perfect creations to bless this planet of ours; rivaled only by online shopping and Blake Lively.

Don’t pretend you’ll ever forget the first time you tasted that creamy chocolately goodness as it oozed off the side of a piping hot slice of toast. Or try to not crave that hazelnut-y aftertaste that lingers on your tongue after the toast is – well – toast.  The fact is, Nutella is the indulgence we all deserve. That’s why Valley has tried and tested two 4-ingredient Nutella recipes that we simply must share with you. Trust us– they’re so good, you have to try them.

What You’ll Need:

3/4 cup Nutella Hazelnut Spread
20 Oreo Cookies
6 oz Cream Cheese
Melting Chocolate

Makes 20 Truffles

What You’ll Do:

  1. Put 20 whole Oreo sandwich cookies into a food processor and pulse into a course texture. If you don’t have a food processor, you can place the Oreos into a large plastic Ziplock bag and smash with a rolling pin.
  2. In separate bowl, completely mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup Nutella. Add more Nutella to taste.
  3. Pour Oreo crumble into cream cheese mixture and combine with a rubber spatula. Save some Oreo crumble for a garnish.
  4. On a parchment paper-covered baking sheet, roll Nutella-Oreo mixture into one-inch truffles.
  5. Place truffles into freezer for roughly 10 minutes or until firm.
  6. Combine melting chocolate and roughly 1/4 cup of Nutella in microwave safe bowl. Microwave for about 60 seconds or until creamy. Be careful not to let the chocolate burn!
  7. Roll truffles into melted chocolate and place back on baking sheet. Sprinkle with leftover Oreo crumble.
  8. Return chocolate-dipped truffles to freezer and let set for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
