The summer to fall seasons have the biggest shift in style of the year. From shorts, tank tops and sun dresses, to jeans and sweaters. In the past sweater vests have been something mainly associated with men, but in recent years the fashion industry has seen a spike in women styling sweater vests.

When it comes to ladies styling sweater vests, they have discovered that it is easy to style, and goes with just about anything. These can be paired with jeans, skirts, a button up or a turtle neck. Recently, they have also been worn oversized, to be used as a dress. Sweaters have always been a fall staple, and it is refreshing to see it be used and styled in different ways.

Sweater vests can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Above, the vest is styled with a button up underneath, which you see coming out from under. The black pants give this look a nice dinner look, with the converse dressing the outfit down to make it a bit more casual. The fall season calls for a lot of neutral colors, which is shown by the creme and white in the top, and the gray colored handbag.

Pictured above, this vest is again styled with a button up but a longer, more dress like style. This gives a more dressed up look, especially with the black platform boots it is paired with. The outfit has specific colors involved, and without any neutrals, this outfit could be perfectly fitting for any fall, or even winter occasion.

The sweater vest paired with a skirt is something that is commonly worn. The black turtleneck definitely pulls the whole outfit together. The light tan sweater makes this outfit perfect for fall. The gold jewelry and the simple hair really tie this outfit together.

Sweater vests are a simple piece of clothing that can be super simple or really stand out in an outfit. These can be sold either at a cheap price, such as on websites like Shein, or a nicer, more expensive price found on Abercrombie or some designer brands.

With November and the fall season coming to a close, winter brings very similar styles. The best thing about this specific style is that it can be worn in many different seasons. The colors of the season might be very neutral browns and cream, but that does not mean that these can not be worn as winter approaches.
