Floribama Shore: The Newest MTV Reality Show

Whether you hated it or loved it, there’s no doubt that Jersey Shore was one of the biggest hit TV shows from the late 2000s.  Although Jersey Shore won’t be making a return anytime soon, MTV has announced a new show that they are producing based off of Jersey Shore, called Floribama Shore.

With the same producer and creator, Floribama Shore is expected to have just as much drama as its precedent.  The producers told Deadline.com that, “This coming of age story captures the very real thrill and angst of being young and trying to figure out the future with a group of people you’ll come to call family.”

The eight cast members will be spending their summer in a house located in Panama City Beach, which is situated on Florida’s panhandle right outside of Alabama.  This group of 21-25 year olds will be living just like Snooki, JWoww, Mike the Situation and the rest of the Jersey Shore gang did.  This means they will have no access to cell phones and will be spending  many nights at the local clubs and bars.

Each cast member is looking for something a little different out of this show.  Some are getting their first taste of independence while others are trying to extend their freedom a little longer before they have to enter into the real world.  Whatever they are looking for, we are sure that it will come with some drama and entertainment for the show’s viewers!

Make sure to tune into MTV on November 27 at 10pm for the premier of Floribama Shore!
