Spring Break Playlist 2016

It’s that time again where we can either envy others or be envied for coming back to school a bronzed goddess after Spring break. Whether you are spending your break relaxing on the beach or becoming one with your couch, you can still enjoy a killer playlist from Valley. Here are a few songs to get your Spring break off to a great start!

“I Took a Pill in Ibiza”- Mike Poser

Because this song still hasn’t gotten old.

“Oh My Love” and “The Sound” The 1975

The 1975 just released their new album, which is straight fire. “I Like it When you Sleep…” is still not available on Spotify, but it will be released on March 11. So until then, iTunes or Youtube is the way to go!

“My House” Flo Rida

This song is fun to listen to whether you are literally sitting in your house listening to Flo Rida or listening from Florida (sorry, couldn’t resist the joke). If you aren’t going on spring break you can live vicariously through this song.

“Ain’t Got Far to Go” Jess Glynne

Another hit for Jess Glynne, singer of “Rather Be” and “Hold my Hand”. “Ain’t Got Far to Go” is just as energetic as her other hits and you’ll have this song on repeat for the entirety of your break.

“Drunk on Your Love” Brett Eldredge

What’s spring break without a little country music? Warm weather and country music go together like tanning oil and spring breakers. You can’t have one without the other.

“Work” Rihanna

It’s still undecided if there are more lyrics in the song than “work”, but it’s still super catchy!

.“Party in the U.S.A” by Miley Cyrus

Throwback to “old” Miley! This song may be from 2009, but it is just as good as it was back then. This song will remain on everyone’s playlists for eternity.

“I Like the Sound of That” Rascal Flatts

Even if you are staying home, you can still pretend you are in the warm weather listening to country.

Watch the waves or watch Netflix, either way you should listen to some good music so you’re ready to come back to the festivities at Penn State! Have a great spring break, Penn Staters.
