It’s officially October, which means fall is in full effect at Penn State. Temperatures are dropping and the leaves are changing, so it’s time to put away your summer wardrobe and prepare for a new season of style.

Looking for new, affordable and stylish pieces that are also comfortable for school days can be difficult, especially during the fall, where the temperature teeters between warm and cool by the hour. Fortunately, VALLEY composed a list of 5 men’s fall fashion trends/pieces that will upgrade your campus outfits this semester.

Adidas Sambas

Sambas are a timeless and trendy shoe that can pull together any outfit. They can be paired with jeans, cargos, sweats and so many other athletic and casual oufits. These shoes are simple enough to be versatile but at the same time detailed enough to upgrade a basic outfit.

Bomber Jackets

For colder fall days, bomber jackets are a must. Again, these are very versatile and can be paired with a casual weekday outfit and sometimes loungewear. Try swapping a flannel over a basic sweatshirt/T-shirt for a bomber jacket and see the improvement for yourself!

White T-shirt Layering

This fashion tip is subtle but goes a long way. Wearing a white tee under a sweatshirt or sweater adds a nice touch and extra layer to an existing outfit. Adding a tee is an affordable and easy way to improve your fall fashion game.

Cargo Pants

Cargo pants are a fresh substitution for jeans or sweatpants. These bottoms pair nicely with a pair of sneakers and a T-shirt, sweatshirt, or sweater. Swapping cargos in for sweatpants or jeans can revamp your whole look.

Sweaters

Incorporating sweaters in your going-to-class outfit is a great and stylish move. A simple sweater can accompany a pair of jeans or cargos and casual sneakers. Wearing a sweater instead of a sweatshirt is more fashionable and in-season.
