Boys Are Crazy Too

Don’t get us wrong, we know girls can be a bit crazy at this age, but it seems to be the boys us Penn State ladies are choosing that are the problem. Being in college people have gone through a couple of relationships and maybe started to realize that boys are indeed, a problem. It’s hard to find a good frat guy at Penn State, but it seems just as hard to find a sane one.

Whether it’s that situationship we were way too attached to, or the ex boyfriend we left because we thought we’d find better “men” here, most of us have all had our fair share of a crazy experience with a high school or college boy.

We interviewed girls around campus at Penn State and asked them one simple question: What was your craziest experience with a guy? However, we’re going to keep their names anonymous (you know, for the girls).

Let’s hear it for the dramatic boys…

“When I was going to break up with him he ran away from his house and I had to call his parents to help me find him.”

“He wrote a 20 page notebook about how in love with me he is and dropped it at my house with birthday gifts, while I had a new boyfriend.”

“He cheated on me so then I broke up with him and then he called me saying he was standing on a bridge about to jump off because he can’t take his life without me.”

“My ex-situationship of about a month and a half ended things due to his claimed “anxiety” and one week later he ended up in a relationship with a girl 3 years younger than us.”

“I had a ‘covid bf’ basically over the phone, I broke up with him bc I wasn’t feeling it anymore. I saw him down the shore and my friends convinced me to get with him. I did and two minutes into it he told me he loved me and he would never let go. He squeezed me and started crying so I ran away. The next day he came to my house and threw a tantrum in my kitchen.”

The ones that have, well, something else going on…

“He had red roses delivered to me the day after he cheated on me begging for me back. He would come up with reasons to be mad and block me, so that he could go have sex with another girl then text me the next day like nothing happened. He would Venmo me 0.01 cent with paragraphs and messages when I would block him on everything.”

“My ex and I got into a fight because I was crying about my grandpa dying. He got mad because I wasn’t focusing on him and his ‘weed withdrawals’ and he had ‘more important problems’ going on. He told me ‘he’s dead now move on, I’m living and you’re being selfish and not caring about my feelings.’”

“I got a beach house so my ex broke up with me because it was ‘too hard’ to see me (we could both literally drive). We got back together and during a fight sent me a picture of myself and said ‘look at yourself.’ Then remember who you’re talking to.”

“When my long distance boyfriend came to visit he kept a count in his note sheet on every guy that glanced slightly in my direction.”

“Once I was driving to a party with my ex boyfriend and ‘Shots’ by LMFAO started playing and I sang and he pulled over his truck and screamed ‘women should never utter those words’ and to ‘get the fuck out of his truck’ and left me on the side of the road. He picked me up hours later.”

And lastly, let’s hear it for the boys who might have committed a crime…

“My last situationship was so mad I ended things. He punched out my back door window, then came back and broke my air conditioning unit. Then finally set off fireworks on my porch.”

“After being broken up he broke into my house and destroyed all my belongings and stole my dog.”

It’s a crazy world we live in. Share your craziest boy experience with @VALLEYmag!
