You don’t care. Well, maybe a little bit but it’s hard to care about some things with less than a month left. But there are ways to properly not care without hurting someone’s feelings or hurting your chances to keep up with schoolwork.

You’ve already heard the same thing from the Career Services office: have your resume and cover letter drafts ready so you can zip through job applications. But every once in a while, a curveballs that you didn’t expect to find during the job search hits you.

Money matters can be scary. There’s taxes, loans, debt, mortgages, rent (and don’t even get me started on those debit and credit cards). Not understanding money can (and will) matter a lot though, especially if you happen to be a woman. So how can you stay ahead and not sink into a pit of financial despair?

It’s too easy to have way too much Penn State gear. From the face tattoos for game day to the t-shirts that are almost impossible to resist getting in every neon color (guilty), you will come to a day when you’re reppin’ your school in every way possible. But how much is too much?

College is supposed to be a time of growing up (whatever that actually means) and changing into our adult selves so we can go forth and be productive members of society after we leave Penn State. But sometimes growing up may have some casualties, namely your stuffed animals.

Reality will be knocking a tad too early for those getting ready to graduate in a few short months (cue the dramatic music). Even though some of us have already found a job (lucky) or have other plans after walking across the stage, the rest of us are facing our computer screens looking for that first real person job.

In the spirit of giving, many of us have no idea what to give to other people (seriously, people can be super picky). But this holiday season, maybe the best thing to give to someone is support if they come out to their family and friends over winter break.
