So you hooked up with a Penn State frat guy. Congrats! Or maybe not. The next steps are questionable— if there even are any. The frat man is a species that cannot be perfectly placed into one category. It is hard to hold ’em down, but it certainly is not hard to lose them. So, how do you lose a Penn State frat guy in ten days?
Show any interest at all
Don’t be clingy. They probably don’t even remember your name and may get you confused for a spam caller! Better to text your girlfriends than Mr. won’t text you back. Showing any sort of interest at all will make him run.
Ask him to be loyal
Remember, we are working with frat men here— not Disney princes. Frat men seem to be scared of the term “loyalty,” so don’t bring up any scary words unless you want to see them run.
Try to get him to skip a party to hang with you
Frat parties are their prime mating time. Like sharks looking for bait, they can’t miss the opportunity to scout out all the new fish in their waters. Maybe you will get a text after, if he couldn’t find anything better.

Diss on his frat
Frat is life. Brotherhood is forever, you aren’t.
“How many girls are you talking to”
That is confidential information. It can’t be spread to the general public. And realistically, you don’t want to know.
Make future plans
Chances are… there is no future! Hinting at any opportunity to see him again is a great way to watch him walk out the door and never turn back around.

Expect more than sex
A date??? That is a term frat guys have never heard. If you don’t want to have sex with him that’s fine. He will just call the next option on his roster. Don’t take it personally.
Ask to join the smoke circle
Bro’s before hoes. No, you cannot join the smoke circle. It’s boys night tonight and you aren’t invited. There might be girls joining later on, but don’t expect that girl to be you.
“I’ve never met someone like you”
He has definitely met someone like you. She may even be coming over once you walk out. It’s okay though, there are many just like him too.
Try to go through his phone
Bro’s before hoes. No you cannot join the smoke circle. It’s boys night tonight and you aren’t invited. There might be girls joining later on, but don’t expect that girl to be you.
Despite the stereotypical frat man chaos, there are some good ones in the mix. If you manage to find one, take him and run!
