Finding Vintage Clothing Vendors in State College

Vintage clothing can elevate anyone’s closet as each item comes with a story. Shopping at thrift or second-hand stores gives an article of clothing another chance of being worn by someone else who may style it differently than before.

Trying to find unique pieces does not end at your local Goodwill, as the vintage selling world has expanded online and right here in State College!

Shop Local!

Social media has allowed vintage vendors to sell pieces online more easily with different websites like Depop and Poshmark. However, walking downtown to our local shops gives us the full shopping experience of searching through all the racks.

Recently, there has been a pop-up shop that sells a range of vintage Penn State memorabilia, jewelry and other articles of clothing on 236 East Calder Way. The vendor, Mia Bella’s Vintage and Retro, uses the space for the pop-up shops. This vendor also sells in surrounding areas of State College!

Mia Bella’s Vintage and Retro carries an array of pieces that range in styles from different decades. One article of clothing or jewelry piece can transform your outfit from Mia Bella’s collection. The pop-up shop opens at 10 a.m. from Tuesday to Sunday throughout October.

To stay updated on upcoming dates for the next pop-up shop, follow them on Instagram @Miabellasvintage and on Facebook at Mia Bella’s Vintage & Retro!

Elevate Your Game Day Outfits with Undrgrnd Collective

Finding the perfect game day outfit can feel exhausting as baby tees from Mclanahan’s seem overdone paired with Nittany Lion ears. The founder of Undrgrnd Collective can help with all our game day needs with each of her pieces. Brittany is a Penn State Alum who reworks all of her thrift finds to create a unique Penn State piece.

Undrgrnd Collective combines vintage and thrifted pieces with original designs that the average Mclanahans or Family Clothesline does not sell. Undrgrnd Collective accentuates the ‘cool girl’ look. Every piece varies in designs and vibes that will have everyone wondering where you got your top.

With every piece having its own identity, Brittany’s clothing sells fast. Undrgrnd Collective uses Instagram as an auction site for each clothing article.

For more information on this clothing vendor who combines VALLEY’s love for vintage clothing and Penn State, go to her Instagram @undrgrnd_collective.psu to check out all of her pieces!

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple ipad and tested to see if it can survive a thirty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
