“The Traitors” season four finale premiered on Thursday, Feb. 26, but the drama from this season is still unfolding. During an appearance on “Good Day New York,” former “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and one of the players on this season of “The Traitors,” Lisa Rinna revealed that she believes she was drugged at a premiere party for the show.

“The Traitors” Premiere Party
“The Traitors” premiere party was held earlier this year on Jan. 8 at The Abbey, a bar located in West Hollywood. Rinna described the feeling as “not right” after only drinking two drinks at the party, which was uncharacteristic for her. According to Rinna, her symptoms escalated quickly, leaving her disoriented and concerned enough to suspect that something wasn’t right. Colton Underwood, one of the contestants on this season of “The Traitors,” was the first to notice something was wrong, followed by her husband, Harry Hamlin. Rinna later revealed that she had traces of fentanyl and high levels of amphetamines in her system.
The allegation immediately sparked conversation online. While Rinna can’t share many details from the night publicly, her story still underscores the reality that drink spiking can happen anywhere — even at a high-profile event with security.

Lisa Rinna on “The Traitors”
The setting of the incident makes the incident even more jarring. “The Traitors” is a competition show where contestants are secretly assigned roles as “traitors” and “faithfuls.” The traitors work behind the scenes to “murder” players while avoiding detection, while the faithfuls banish contestants they think are the traitors. A show centered around manipulation and suspicion now finds itself connected to a very real situation involving mistrust.
Rinna joined “The Traitors” franchise with the same bold energy she brought to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” On the show, Rinna was one of the four traitors along with Rob Rausch from “Love Island,” Candiace Dillard Bassett from “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” and Donna Kelce, the mother of NFL players Jason and Travis Kelce. Rinna ultimately fell short of winning the show after she was banished by her fellow players in episode seven.
As of now, there has been no public confirmation about what may have occurred that night. The Abbey released a statement noting that they are aware of the situation and will investigate further.
