A Lady Gaga Summer

Summers are measured by the expectations we set with our friends before it starts. Last summer Charlie XCX introduced a “brat summer” and a couple years before that Megan The Stallion set the standards for a “Hot Girl Summer.”

But none of those compare to the years of 2009-2011 when Lady Gaga was at her peak and Justin Bieber was America’s heart throb all summer long. In those years people had “Bad Romance” and “Paparazzi” remixes blasting down the shore at their peak.

To have a Lady Gaga summer means to be reckless, raunchy and your hottest self. The most iconic celebrities partied with and to Lady Gaga in her prime because she set the precedent to be a wild child.

Step One: Care Less

One thing Lady Gaga makes known about herself is that she doesn’t care what anyone thinks and neither should you. One of her biggest records “Born This Way” introduced inclusion to pop culture in the most fashionable and prideful way. Gaga made it so being different was what everyone wanted to be.

She wore the loudest outfits, the boldest makeup, dropped the craziest beats and let the press talk their talk with it. Over a decade later Gaga still has this reputation which shows how true she is to herself.

To love yourself is to be in tune with yourself. A Gaga summer also means to overuse the words “who cares.”

Who cares if he didn’t text you back, who cares if your friends didn’t put a picture of you in their ‘end-of-semester dump’, who cares if your jean shorts from high school are snug. This mindset will make the UV feel higher on the best tanning days and the water a little warmer.

The Time Is Now

We are the youngest we’re ever going to be for the rest of our lives. Turn on the car, play Telephone by Gaga featuring Beyoncé and drive to the beach with your friends. Scream the words at the top of your lungs and wear the skimpiest bikini. Or don’t! That is the beauty of Gaga’s attitude, it is just about doing whatever you want.

Of course Gaga isn’t the only pop star with this attitude. Kesha is also iconic for well.. everything ever but 2025 is the year for Gaga to come back. The generation didn’t get the experience the attitude and fabulousness of these celebrities in their prime.

Thanks for your publiction. Another issue is that just being a photographer consists of not only problem in capturing award-winning photographs but hardships in acquiring the best video camera suited to your needs and most especially struggles in maintaining the standard of your camera. That is very correct and apparent for those professional photographers that are straight into capturing the nature’s exciting scenes — the mountains, the actual forests, the wild or the seas. Visiting these amazing places absolutely requires a digital camera that can live up to the wild’s hard settings.

  • I believe that avoiding highly processed foods may be the first step in order to lose weight. They can taste very good, but refined foods contain very little vitamins and minerals, making you consume more only to have enough electricity to get over the day. When you are constantly consuming these foods, changing to cereals and other complex carbohydrates will assist you to have more vitality while taking in less. Great blog post.

First off I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Thank you!
