If I Were A PSU Frat Boy

In 2008, Beyoncé created not only musical history, but a significant impact on the societal differences between men and women with her song “If I Were A Boy.” The song follows a storyline that describes the easy life she would live if she were a boy. Her lyrics present the idea that men have it easy in the dating realm and overall social lives.

Now, the song may be a bit outdated in terms of the physical year, but many of the same concepts still apply. When looking at our very own Penn State campus, it is safe to say there is a pretty long list of things girls wish they could do if they were a Penn State frat boy.

Frolic On The Lawn

When the sun comes out, so do the Penn State frat guys. Anytime you see the sun shining, you can bet money you will also see groups of guys outside on their front lawns. Playing dye, hanging out, drinking cold drinks and barbecuing on the grill, Penn State frat boys have the best time during the warmer days of State College.

Wear The Same Outfit Every Day

If it isn’t the same outfit, it is the same blueprint every day for a Penn State frat guy. No need to worry about being an “outfit repeater” or not following the theme properly. Frat guys don’t text in their group chats to see what their friends are wearing to make sure they are fitting in with the crowd. At the end of the day, they are all wearing the same thing, and life is simple.

Reject Someone At The Door

While it is humbling on the other end, being the frat guy rejecting girls at the door is at the top of the to-do list. Do they really feel bad? Or is it a thrilling boost to the ego?

Be On The Inside Of A Frat Party

Us girls know what it’s like to attend their frat parties, but what is it like on the inside? We want to see what the frat group chat is texting about as the party goes on. Who are they talking about? What videos are being sent?
