If you’re as chronically online as we are, you might have seen the recent TikTok trend where people search for which Disney World ride they are. The user posts the ride they were hoping to get, followed by the one they actually got.
As a fan of all things Disney, VALLEY decided to hop on the trend and cater it to our fellow Nittany Lions. The new question: What Disney World ride are you based on your major? Read on to find out.
Communications: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Like this fast-paced rollercoaster ride, communications majors are always on the go, whether they are out in the field capturing content or conducting interviews for their next assignment. Like the seven dwarfs, all of you enjoy collaborating with your fellow communications friends to get the job done. You’re fun, energetic and like the gems they mine, you always have a sparkle that you bring to every adventure.
Business Management: Pirates Of The Caribbean

Like the Pirates of the Caribbean, your major is a classic, which you can never go wrong with. As a business major, you’re headstrong, intelligent and always have your eye on the prize (or treasure). Some of you even have your post-grad job secured, and we’re impressed.
Education: The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh

Like Winnie the Pooh, you’re kind, loyal and beloved by all your friends. You are always there for anyone who needs a helping hand, and people love that about you. You carry an aura of whimsy wherever you go, and you know how to bring light to any situation.
Engineering: Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Like Cosmic Rewind in Epcot, your major takes you on a crazy track, with sudden drops, twists and stops. However, you always manage to come out on top like the true hero you are. You have a unique way of thinking that your peers admire, and you can solve any challenge that comes your way.
Forensic Science: The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror

The Tower of Terror takes guests on a haunted elevator ride through a 1939 Hollywood hotel, dropping visitors to their doom. As forensic scientists, you may focus on investigations that sometimes have horrific endings like this ride. You’re not afraid of heading straight into the unknown, and this often makes you the bravest person in the room.
Environmental Science: Jungle Cruise

As an environmental science major, you have a passion for the outdoors, which is why you are the Jungle Cruise. You have an admirable sense of adventure and an abundance of curiosity, which drives you in your everyday work. Like the live skipper who tells corny jokes during the tour, you are also super funny and can’t help but appreciate a good pun.
Math: Mission Space

We apologize for this, but if you’re a math major, you’re Mission Space, simply because doing math for a living would make anyone’s head spin (and possibly make them nauseous). Similar to riding Mission Space, not everyone is up for it, but the ones who take the challenge are a different breed. You’re strong, well-respected and admirable, so cheers to that.
Finance: The Haunted Mansion

Like business, finance is another classic major that will give you the skills to pursue whatever career you desire. In this case, finance is The Haunted Mansion, solely because finance bros can be especially scary (sorry about that). However, you’re popular, fun to be around and the true life of the party. Hooray!
Computer Science: Space Mountain

Like Space Mountain, computer science is very tech-core and requires knowledge that not everyone has. You always remain calm and collected, and you’re a loyal friend to everybody. Although other rides (artificial intelligence) threaten to take away Space Mountain (computer science careers), you are truly valued and will always be needed.
Nursing: Soarin’ Around The World

Soarin’ is one of Disney World’s more relaxing rides, and although your major is often the contrary, you help and uplift people just like this beloved attraction does. You are incredibly kind and easy to talk to, which is why your friends often turn to you when they need help or advice. And just like Soarin’, you are always down for a fun adventure to take a much-needed break from your studies.
Kinesiology: Tron Lightcycle Run

Like the Lightcycle run, you are powerful, energetic and maybe slightly competitive. With its motorcycle structure, high speeds and acceleration, this ride encompasses the knowledge of anatomy and movement you need as a kinesiology major. You are truly ready for anything, whether it’s an exam or a spontaneous night on the town.
Psychology: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway has lots of unexpected twists and turns, which perfectly capture the number of concepts and terms you need to memorize as a psychology major. However, like how Mickey and Minnie have each other, you have a great friend/study buddy to get through it together. You are as passionate about the journey as you are about the destination, which makes you a joy to be around. Yay!
