The “West Coast” singer, Lana Del Rey, married 49-year-old tour guide Jeremy Dufrene on Sept. 26th. The couple tied the knot in Des Allemands, La., at the public bayou where Dufrene conducts alligator boat tours. The 39-year-old singer and Dufrence became public with their relationship approximately a month prior to the wedding.
According to The Daily Mail, Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, walked down the aisle with her father Robert Grant. She wore a wedding gown with a ruffled lace neckline and flowing bodice. Her ‘something blue’ was a blue ribbon tied in an updo hairstyle. Dufrene donned a three-piece suit and brown leather boots. The private ceremony was held under a white tent on the water and joined by close friends and family.
Del Rey has been engaged three times, but this marks her first time walking down the aisle and officially tying the knot. Following the wedding, fans sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. It is unclear when the couple began dating, however, Del Rey posted about her experience with Dufrene back in 2019, when she shouted out his company Arthur’s Airboat Tours, on her Facebook.
The “Video Games” singer posted again in May 2024, on another alligator tour, referencing Dufrene for photo credits. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Del Rey performed at the Reading and Leeds Festival in Wetherby, England, with Dufrene at her side on Aug. 2024. Del Rey was later seen sporting an engagement ring in mid-September. As the couple embarks on a new adventure together, fans are excited to see what their love story brings next.
