
Aside from the big football game, the Super Bowl is largely about the advertisements. This year, the ads had a different feel to them. Artificial intelligence has been pushed in some of the ads, and some of the viewers don’t seem to resonate with it.
Svedka Robots

One of the ads in the Super Bowl that stood out to viewers was the Svedka ad. The ad featured two robots that resembled a female and a male who were at a party enjoying Svedka martinis. In the background, behind the robots, there were humans dancing, enjoying the party.
The ad was almost entirely prompted by AI. The robots and the people were the product of a computer code. The message of the ad was for people to put away the technology and to get out and meet people in an analogue way.
Claude Chatbot

Anthropic also had a Super Bowl ad, and they promoted their Claude chatbot. The ad was about a young man talking to a personified AI chatbot for help with creating a workout plan. The AI chatbot then tries to sell him shoes that he does not want or ask for.
The message of Anthropic’s ad was, “Ads are coming to AI, but not to Claude.” They did message their brand in a good way, saying they’re different from other AI companies, but many viewers online don’t like the push of AI.
In the past year, AI has evolved, and many companies have been incorporating it into their jobs. Many viewers went to TikTok to post their opinions about it, and most of them were negative and not for AI promotion.
Google Gemini Ad
Google’s ad was about AI and ways to use it. They promoted it in a family direction. They had a mom and son, and the mom used the Google Gemini app to help her out with decorating her son’s room. Then it showed what to put in a backyard, and the ad in general had a family wholeness scene to it, so the audience could resonate with it in a way.

Ai.com warns about AGI
Ai.com promoted the use of AI with their ad as well. Their ad just promoted their website, and it said, “AGI is coming, get your @handle now.”
This left some viewers confused because it did not have a direct message about what the company does. It just warns viewers that artificial general intelligence is coming, which is technology that can perform any task that a human can and can adapt like humans.
