For the Love of Tote Bags

Tote bags are perhaps one of the most practical and nifty accessories on the market. They come in all shapes, sizes, patterns and price points. As people become more environmentally conscious and eager to ditch single-use plastic bags, they have become more likely to reach for the ever-so useful tote bag!

Trader Joe’s Tote Bags

The nation’s favorite grocery store, Trader Joe’s, isn’t just known for their novelty food and drink products, they also have some of the cutest reusable bags. Ranging from their large bags to their canvas totes and mini bags, TJ’s sure does have it all!

Last year, the store began carrying mini tote bags in canvas with blue, red, green and yellow detailing. This year, they released pastel versions of the mini totes. Needless to say, they have been in a frenzy ever since. Although the bags are only $2.99, resellers on websites like Ebay have been selling them for much higher prices.

Longchamp ‘Le Pliage’

The French designer brand, Longchamp, was established in 1948. Their iconic bag, the “Le Pliage” first hit shelves in 1993. Since the bag’s inception, it has become a staple in many people’s lives, for its practicality and versatility.

“Pliage” is French for “to fold,” one of the bag’s most practical abilities. More recently, the purse has become even more popular. It is a great alternative to backpacks, everyday handbags or it can be used on grocery store trips.

Not only does the tote come in different colors, but novelty keychains and scarves can easily be added to its handles to elevate its look and accentuate your outfit!

Souvenir and Novelty Tote Bags

Kitschy souvenirs are fun and all, however, they’re usually not ever used! Tote bags are a wonderful souvenir that are actually useful and can pose as great collectors items. From gift shops across the globe to even being concert merch, they make perfect keepsakes.

One of Harry Styles’ merchandise staples on the “Love on Tour” were tote bags, aligning with the themes of the three legs of his tour. They of course make great mementos, almost like walking posters from the concert.

“Stars, They’re Just Like Us!”

Some of our favorite A-listers have been spotted carrying tote bags. When spotted, Jacob Elordi is typically found to be sporting a tote bag. In his video with GQ where he shared the “10 Things Jacob Elordi Can’t Live Without,” one of the items was the beloved tote bag.

Upcycling

Whether simply to decorate or even hand-make, tote bags make great canvases. Patches can be easily added as can embroidery! Adding on unique details can help make your bag stand out and be personalized.

Etsy is also a hotspot for unique bags, ranging from being decorated with unique patterns, to custom labels and details, to quirky fan art. With so many options on the market, there truly is a tote bag for just about anyone!

  • With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help stop content from being stolen? I’d definitely appreciate it.
