We all know E.L.F. Cosmetics as the brand we were first allowed to wear in middle school. However, E.L.F. is making a comeback that doesn’t involve neon blue eyeshadow or bright pink gloss — and may even replace your favorite name brand products.
Recently, YouTuber Jeffree Star did a makeup review called, “Full Face Using Only E.L.F. Makeup … I’m Speechless!” where he highlighted the new products E.L.F. has come out with.
The most shocking part about E.L.F. is that the brand consistently challenges name brands, but E.L.F. typically costs less than half of what you pay for “high end” products.
One of the favorites that has been featured before is the Poreless Putty Primer. This primer was one of the very first things that shocked makeup users because of how well it works. The primer claims to allow the makeup to stay gripped for “all-day wear,” and people seem to agree.

E.L.F. also just launched a new concealer called the 16 Hour Camo Concealer. The Camo Concealer has a doe foot applicator and has been compared to Tarte’s Shape Tape concealer. E.L.F.’s concealer retails for $5, where the Tarte Shape Tape retails for $27.
The quality of these products are almost identical but the price is not and people are shocked. There are many duplicates for the primer and jelly highlighter, but it truly is hard to beat E.L.F.’s cost.
@JeffreeStar you changed my whole ass makeup game with that elf cosmetics tutorial. their foundation works better than my clinique foundation which is 5x the price

Many drug store brands have been called out for not having an inclusive shade range as well, but E.L.F’s concealer has 18 shades and their foundation has 40 shades. Drug stores are beginning to become aware of this issue within the makeup community, and E.L.F. is one to really stand out and give influencers such as Jeffree Star products they are proud of to show off on their platforms.
In Jeffree’s video, he also used the Jelly Highlighter and it was blinding. Jeffree recommended using a brush with synthetic bristles because of the pigment in the highlighter. The Jelly Highlighter is just fun in general with the texture and consistency — what’s not to love?
E.L.F. throughout the years has been the “quick fix” for when you run out of an essential product, but it is slowly making its way into people’s everyday makeup routine. Unfortunately, with these products being “Jeffree Star approved,” they are sold out storewide and sitewide. Check out E.L.F.’s Twitter for updates on restocking and new products.

can I say… I hesitate a whole lot and don’t seem to get anything done.

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get
three emails with the same comment. Is there any way
you can remove me from that service? Cheers!
