Beauty Standards
Let’s be so real, today’s beauty standard is impossible for anyone to achieve. It doesn’t matter what you look like.
No matter how tall or short you are, what color your hair is; someone is going to decide something is wrong with you. So, considering that fact, you might as well leave the house in something that makes you feel your best!
Leaving the house in an outfit that you feel uncomfortable in is the worst feeling. You’ll constantly be pulling at your clothes and feel like you have to sit up perfectly straight. You don’t want to be sitting at lunch with your friends, dreaming of the more comfortable outfit you could have worn.
Everyone is different
Everyone has a different body, and clothes fit everyone differently. If you’re more comfortable in athletic wear, yet your friend is more comfortable in jeans, that doesn’t make one of you cooler or more stylish than the other. You each just feel more comfortable in different styles.
Having a different style from your friends is actually a good thing. It could give you the opportunity to explore different types of clothing. You may mix and match your clothes, and maybe even discover a new style you love!
Personality plays a huge role in the way that someone dresses. This is why there is always so much tension about school uniforms because they stifle self-expression through fashion. Everyone being able to have their own style and express themselves freely is a beautiful thing.

Fashion is in the eye of the beholder. Some enjoy bright, patterned clothes, while others may prefer darker or more neutral pieces.
Remeber, new fashion trends are created by someone taking a risk and trying something new.
Fashion is always changing and evolving, so try new things or stick to the things that make you feel the most comfortable. You’ll look good regardless!
