Rumors about a possible romance between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are circulating the internet after the two were seen hanging out several times following Kardashian’s Oct. 9 appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” in which Davidson stars as a cast member.
While guest hosting “SNL,” Kardashian portrayed the Disney princess Jasmine in a sketch opposite Davidson as Aladdin. Until Bowen Yang’s Genie granted Aladdin his final wish, Davidson expressed his character’s insecurities to Kardashian. On the magic carpet, the two talk before sharing a kiss, bringing the sketch to an end.
Following the kiss, major speculation started on whether there was something more going on between the pair. On Nov. 5, a source told Us Weekly that Davidson was “a true professional the whole time they rehearsed and in between takes, but afterward things got flirty.” The source then went on to say that the two exchanged numbers and Davidson asked if Kardashian “would like to hang out sometime, which she agreed to straight away.”
This information came days after the two were spotted holding hands on a rollercoaster at Knott’s Scary Farm in California. Also spotted on the rollercoaster with the pair was Kardashian’s sister Kourtney and her fiancé Travis Barker. A source told People Magazine that it was all just friends hanging out: “They hang in the same circles so they will be together from time to time.”

Then, on Nov. 1, Kardashian arrived in New York City to attend WSJ. Magazine’s 11th annual Innovator Awards, where she received an award for Brand Innovator. While in New York City, Kardashian and Davidson were spotted out at dinner twice: once on the rooftop of Campania in Staten Island — where Davidson is from — and another time at Zero Bond in Manhattan. TMZ reported that people at both Zero Bond and Campania told them that “the two appeared ‘very comfortable’ with each other, smiling, laughing and displaying plenty of PDA.”
The alleged romance comes months after Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West. West, who just recently legally changed his name to Ye, appeared on Revolt TV’s “Drink Champs” podcast, giving a rare interview in which he stated he wanted Kardashian back.
“‘SNL’ making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off, and I ain’t never even seen the papers. We’re not even divorced,” West told hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, referring to Kardashian’s “SNL” monologue. “That ain’t no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together.” While the podcast was released Nov. 4, it’s unclear when exactly the interview was recorded; however, it was clearly after Kardashian’s Oct. 9 “SNL” appearance. Kardashian has yet to comment on West’s statements.
While Kardashian and Davidson have not officially commented on their alleged romance, a source told Us Weekly on Nov. 2 that “they are just friends right now, but things could turn romantic.” What do you think? Will the two confirm a relationship anytime soon?
