It’s that time of year again … one of State College’s favorite events is in just a few days! Pop Up Ave will appear on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the 100 block of South Fraser Street. You don’t want to miss this event, especially with no home game this weekend!

What to Shop
This event is free to attend and will line the streets with 35 vendors of various types. For those who attended last year, there will be a variety of new vendors to check out such as, Everbloom Paper Flowers, Val Cardona Designs, GabiiMade and Althaea Apothecary.
In addition to these exciting businesses, there will be a number of returning fan favorite vendors like Go State Designs, Golden Earth Studios and Amanda Lelani Designs!

What to Eat
We all know it wouldn’t be right to go shopping without grabbing a little treat for yourself, and Pop Up Ave knows that too. Come hungry on Saturday because there will be Super Duper Café, Bonnie Blue’s BBQ, Inside Out Cookie, The Cakeshop by Tati and Sunny Cup Coffee to satisfy you. There will also be the infamous beer garden by Elk Creek Cafe by the stage in MLK Plaza.
Who to Hear
All throughout the day there will be music to either sit down and jam out to or simply have in the background as you stroll along. Everyone always loves the returning Hot Fudge Yacht Club and DJ Elbow Knee Knee. There will also be some new bands to check out — Psychic Beat and Crater and the Catalyst.
