The New York City Marathon is not just a race; it is a love letter to endurance, hard work and every dream that’s ever started with a single step.
This year’s marathon did not disappoint. In the women’s field, Hellen Obiri owned the day. With confidence and unstoppable rhythm, she crossed the finish line first, clocking in at 2:19:51 and breaking the course record. There was no drama, just determination. Obiri’s win was more than a victory; it was the continuation of a legacy. The Kenyan distance runner has done what few have, building a career out of the sport.
