It’s finally time for Greek life’s favorite night … Greek Sing! Greek Sing is a live dance competition where sororities and fraternities are paired to perform themed dances in front of a live audience. The pairs are then scored by a panel of judges, and the winner gets to perform their dance at THON and raise $1,000 for their philanthropy of choice. Stay tuned to the end to find out who won this year’s Greek Sing!

Performances
Several groups opted for movie-inspired performances this year. Delta Zeta and Pi Kappa Tau performed their “Teen Beach Movie” adaptation. Alpha Sigma Alpha, Zeta Tau Alpha and Alpha Chi Rho incorporated elements from “The Greatest Showman,” while Kappa Kappa Gamma and Phi Kappa Psi highlighted a series of “Greatest Movie Hits.”
Phi Sigma Sigma and Chi Phi presented a “Barbie”-themed dance, and Delta Phi Epsilon and Zeta Psi drew from “Mamma Mia.” Alpha Xi Delta and Delta Upsilon performed to songs from “The Lorax.” To close the show, Alpha Phi and Alpha Gamma Rho performed a “Wicked”-inspired routine that later earned them the popular vote award from the audience.
Other pairings built routines around musical artists or television nostalgia. Kappa Delta and Alpha Tau Omega opened the night with a routine based on “Victorious.” Alpha Delta Pi and Theta Chi created a performance centered on Justin Bieber, Kappa Alpha Theta and Sigma Alpha Epsilon reenacted scenes from “Camp Rock” and Sigma Delta Tau and Zeta Beta Tau performed to music by the Black Eyed Peas.
Delta Gamma, Phi Sigma Rho and Phi Delta Theta drew on “Glee,” while Sigma Kappa and Phi Sigma Kappa chose “Alvin and the Chipmunks.” Alpha Omicron Pi and Sigma Sigma Sigma performed to themes from “Big Time Rush.” Gamma Phi Beta and Alpha Phi Delta took a broader approach to their theme, presenting “Eras of Dance.”

The Winners
After viewing the 15 team performances, the panel of judges came together to vote on their favorite performance of the night. The judging panel included Blue Sapphire Mackenzie Bronk, Blue Band Drum Major Ellie Sheehan, THON Executive Director Ben Roitman and Homecoming Executive Director Zach McGuire.
The emcees of the event, Penn State Mic Man Brady Berger and men’s lacrosse player Mark McKeon, took the stage to announce this year’s Greek Sing. And the winner was… Alpha Xi Delta and Delta Upsilon with their “Lorax”-themed dance, marking Alpha Xi Delta’s third win in a row.

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100 sure. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Kudos
