If you were as glued to the Oscars as I was, it’s pretty obvious what the next beauty craze is: Lupita Nyongo’s blue lip balm. In case you missed the show, Ellen Degeneres casually ordered pizza for the celebs (as one does) and later went around collecting everyone’s cut. No, not even Brangelina was safe from pitching in. When Lupita Nyongo’s time came, all she had to offer Ellen was her mysterious blue lip balm as compensation.
Needless to say, Twitter blew up and teenage girls far and wide were on the hunt for the mysterious blue lip balm. Well, ladies, you’re in luck – Valley has found it. The lip balm in question is Clarins HydraQuench Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm. The French company has quickly sold out of the product in stores, but it’s still available online. Lupita has been quoted saying, “When you have dry lips, you can’t think of anything else to use.” We feel you girl, chapped lips are literally the worst.
It’s a bit of a splurge (each tube runs at $24), but it’s totally worth it for Oscar-worthy lips. This one is definitely at the top of my list of things to buy. Price $24.
