Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve likely heard about “The Voice of VALLEY” podcast. The original hosts of this audio body are Liv Sanders, Mackensie Chewning, Becca Cohen and Vik Raj. From State Patty’s to situationships, the VALLEY team has covered it all. We know you’ve been keeping up with each episode but why stop there? Here’s some outfit inspiration to show your love for “The Voice of VALLEY.”

Ep 1: Welcome back to the VALLEY!

For the first episode of the spring semester, the lovely hosts brought VALLEY back to life. This episode bursted with energy and included special guest Jules Maluenda (one of our two pr directors!). As the hosts and guest blessed listeners with their voices, they set the tone for the rest of the semester (hint: V35 will be the best yet).

Wear a bold and daring look to match the first episode. Mini skirts, leather jackets, black boots and tinted shades all match this style. For stand-out pieces, search on Depop or Edikted. *Plus, bonus points if you style your VALLEY merch from last semester!

Ep 2: Emma Runs the VALLEY (And We Just Work Here)

This one goes out to our fearless business director Emma Froelich! For the second episode, the hosts chatted with her about her role and how things really work with the magazine (ooh, gossip). As the chat continued, so did the great yaps and laughs. “The Voice of VALLEY” can be a bit silly at times and we, the listeners, love that.

For this stylish look, layer gold or silver jewelry. Try out a new statement bag or mini purse. Pieces for this bold style can be found on sites like Jaded London or White Fox. If you seek a more formal outfit, check out the mini dresses at Aritzia or Revolve.

Ep 3: Love, Lust, and Last Nights Regrets

Right after Valentine’s Day, the hosts treated their loyal listeners with their hot takes on the holiday, texting exes, relationships and more. No discount candy needed, this conversation was both sweet and entertaining. Why pay for a therapy session when this episode soothes your love problems?

Whether you were coupled up, or celebrating Galentine’s day, we can all agree this holiday chat deserves more recognition. Show off your support by wearing burgundy or crimson. Don’t want to dress monochrome? Incorporate pops of pink or red into your outfit through your accessories. Try popular streetwear or thrifted pieces from sites like Stüssy, Urban Outfitters and Vinted.

Ep 4: Fifty Shades of Green

All rise to salute State Patty’s. During this episode, Liv and Mackensie chatted about BORG names, day parties and poor decisions (though the luck always came back). Whether you celebrated or not, State College went crazy (and Irish) for the weekend. This episode perfectly addressed the chaos and lore of the Penn State “holiday.”

For lucky shirts and four-leaf clover prints, search through your local thrift stores. Great-quality jeans like the iconic 501’s can be found online at Levi’s.com. For green tops of all lengths, look at Hollister’s and Skims’ current collections.

Ep 5: Who Planned This Trip? (And Why Are We Naked?)

On the latest episode, the hosts dug deep into their spring break secrets. From flights to missing clothes, this episode addressed it all. Even if you didn’t fly to an exotic location, this chat is as refreshing as tanning on a beach. Note: the VALLEY staff cannot wait to see everyone’s spring break pictures!

For the 2025 spring and summer months, look for sequin tops and skirts. Try to find cool or warm-toned clothing that matches your signature jewelry. Cute going out tops can be found at PacSun or Hello Molly. Online shops like ASOS or Vinted carry great shimmery pieces.
