At the end of season two, Emily’s mentor Sylvie asks her to stay in Paris and join her instead of heading back to Chicago to move up the corporate ladder. However, Emily is left feeling torn — both professionally and romantically.
Emily is stuck in a love triangle between her new boyfriend, British banker Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), and her neighbor, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). Emily decides she is still in love with Gabriel. But, when she shows up at this apartment to confess her love, she discovers that Gabriel and his on-again-off-again girlfriend Camille (Camille Razat) are on-again and moving in together. Emily realizes she made the mistake of hiding her feelings and cannot undo it. She has to decide if she will stay in Paris and see Gabriel in a relationship or go back to Chicago where her “real life” is.
The Fashion of Things
Costume designer Marylin Fitoussi told ELLE.com that she would like to bring back some unforgettable outfits from season one, specifically Emily’s looks.
Fitoussi tells the outlet, “my dream for season three would be to recycle costumes [from] season one.” She continues, “I don’t know if we can do that, but I’m dreaming to bring some of Lily’s most iconic outfits to the recycling workshop and see what they can do and recut to make.” Whatever choices they make, we know we’re super excited so see!
