Since it first began streaming in 2007, Netflix has rarely let anyone down with constant new content to feed everyone’s streaming appetites. Although viewers have had to say goodbye to some fan favorites (“Friends,” we’re looking at you), there is so much to discover.
Between new seasons of Netflix original shows and classic movies to rediscover, there will always be an intriguing title to watch.
Here are some of Netflix’s January highlights.
“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” – Part 3
Back again for a third season, Sabrina Spellman and her friends discover a new mission they must complete: save Sabrina’s boyfriend Nicholas Scratch from Hell. After defeating her father Lucifer in the last season, she grapples with her new title of Queen of the Dark Realm. With new threats, old friends and battles to come, Jan. 24 can’t come soon enough!
“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”
First released in the 80s, this film has been stealing the hearts of fans for decades. The movie follows high school student Ferris Bueller and his two friends, Cameron and Sloane, as they ditch school one last time before graduation. While trying not to get caught by their school principle, they sneak into fancy restaurants, drive Ferrari’s and even sing in a parade. Released on Jan. 1, be sure to check it out now.
“BoJack Horseman” – Season 6 Part 2
As the series comes to an end, Season 6 finds BoJack in rehab as he discovers how to redeem himself. While he struggles with his past, stay tuned for how he plans to restore his future. Be sure to check out the final season of this series on Jan. 31.
“Sex Education” – Season 2
After a successful first season, “Sex Education” is back with a boatload of embarrassing and awkward teenage moments. Otis, Maeve and Eric come back to some new faces at Moordale. With a Chlamydia outbreak on the loose and Otis’ clinic still shut down from last season, will he and Maeve make amends to open it back up? Stay tuned on Jan. 17 to find out.
