Over the past few weeks, Miley Cyrus has been exploding on social media and the music industry in general. With an album coming soon, her VMA performance and her viral cover of “Heart of Glass,” Miley has been a big topic of conversation.
Miley Cyrus recently went viral all over social media, especially Tik Tok, for her cover of “Heart of Glass” originally by Blondie. The video was a minute and some seconds of pure gold for fans. Her strong and raspy vocals make her own take of this iconic song so addicting.
After fans reposted the video consistently all over social media begging for a recording of the song, it happened. A cover was finally released on Sept. 29, 2020. So far, the cover has over 1.5 million streams on Youtube.
Calling this some kind of comeback for Miley Cyrus is not a fair statement. She constantly reinvents herself and her music to provide her fans with entertainment. VALLEY, along with everyone else, seems to be giving her all their attention. Miley has been able to keep our attention from “Can’t Be Tamed,” “Wrecking Ball,” and now “Midnight Sky.”
Even though Miley is able to consistently reinvent her sound and look, her message is always the same. Her music is able to empower a lot of people and always stir some controversy. Most of her songs are about being a free individual, like “Mother’s Daughter.”
Miley Cyrus’s new album, “She is Miley Cyrus,” does not have a release date yet.
