There will be a performance from the skaters and a public skate session. Rental skates will be provided and tickets cost $7. Stop by and skate from 8:30 to 9:45 p.m.! This is a great way to spend your evening and it’s all FTK®.
Subway Cookies

No Hair Don’t Care
On Feb. 12, you can shave your head for $10 and credit the organization of your choosing as well. The event is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the HUB in Alumni Hall and nothing shows your support more than standing by those who are fighting cancer with a bald head too. Register online, walk-in or show up to watch!
Lions Pride
Need some gear for THON? Shop at Lions Pride and 20% of your entire purchase will be donated to THON. If you spend over $75 you will receive a free ‘4 Weeks 4 THON’ shirt, or you can buy the shirt for $15 and all proceeds will be donated. THON gear is essential to surviving the weekend so make use of this beneficial and practical fundraiser while you still can! The promotion ends on Feb 18.
4 vs. 4 Soccer Tournament
It’s not too late to sign up and participate in the men’s varsity soccer tournament benefiting THON. Grab four to six friends and make a team even if you’re absolutely terrible at soccer. The event is Sunday, Feb. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Holuba Hall right next to Pegula Ice Arena, and already over 200 people have signed up. This is both a fun way to raise some money and get in some light exercise on your feet. It only costs $5 per person, so sign up soon!
THON Raffle
As part of a yearlong effort, THON has been organizing a series of raffles with awesome prizes and the final one is during THON weekend. You can purchase tickets up until Feb. 12 in the THON office or online and winners will be announced on stage during the weekend. The grand prize is a Dell tablet and a trip to Europe!
Valentine’s Day Movie Night
The State Theatre is hosting a Valentine’s Day movie night that will be benefiting THON. They will be playing Casablanca at 7 p.m. and you can also enjoy snacks and take Valentine’s Day photos—the perfect date and it’s for a great cause. Tickets are $5.
THON is almost upon us so let’s work to bring in as much money as we can FTK®. Enjoy some of these events and opportunities to raise money for the cause because every penny helps.
