It’s that time of year again – our search for new business staff members have begun! We currently have positions open in Advertising (Ad Sales), PR/Marketing and Events.
Responsibilities of the Advertising (Ad Sales) team include booking and developing print/online ads with businesses, and to create and update media kits.
Responsibilities of the Events team include implementing events for editorial and promotional purposes, overseeing Valley Week, planning our Spring Fashion Show and more.
Responsibilities of the PR/Marketing team focus on sending out fundraising and awareness letters, booking on-campus promotions for Valley Week, and other promotional events throughout the semester.
Each of the three divisions has it’s own separate application, all of which can be found below. Email completed applications and your resume to the following addresses and specify which position you’re applying for in the subject.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ALL VALLEY MAGAZINE STAFF MEMBERS:
– Attend weekly meetings. Business staff meetings will be held on Monday nights at 7 p.m.
– Attend, participate and contribute to all Valley Magazine events
– Agree to not write or work for other publications specific to our campus. This includes The Daily Collegian, Onward State, HerCampus and Spoon University (PSU). If you have any questions regarding whether a publication you currently write or work for is acceptable please email Samantha Allen at sallen0714
– Agree to commit to our staff for the entire semester.
